• AWS account and admin or scoped access configured
• IAM Identity Center enabled (optional; alternative to long-lived IAM user keys)
• AWS CLI installed and configured
• Terraform installed (>= 1.5)
• Git installed, user configured, and Terraform repo cloned
• Region chosen, cost and teardown approach noted

These steps match what LMI fundamentals and the hands-on Walkthrough labs assume. Work through them in order; later pages depend on earlier ones. Each page has detailed steps and uses tabs for macOS vs Linux or IAM user vs IAM Identity Center where choices exist.
